A story, in two parts.

Wanted to see if ChatGPT maybe could possibly help with streamlining coloring sheets for designs I'd already done...

well, you be the judge as to how successful it is.
A ChatGPT prompt with a hand drawn picture of Hildegard of Bingen and the text "Recreate this image exactly as is except in outlines like a coloring sheet" ChatGPT says "image created" and it's a line art drawing of a frog.

It’s our nondiscrimination canons, that put a governor in growth, I guess!
theodramatist.com
Some of it was tinged with the kind of classic “they’re only growing because they cut ethical corners we are unwilling to do, which is why we are virtuously declining”
theodramatist.com
No, that growth is often an irrelevant metric, or indicative of actually not having enough integrity in ministry!
theodramatist.com
Oh it’s all related to the growth side 🤣

I’m not sure, but I do think that Amber is the color of my energy.

No! I went through wanting to be variously an archeologists, orchestral trumpet player, lawyer, and linguist.

Vaccines are safe and effective.

Autism isn't caused by vaccines, and autistic people and their families deserve our support.

When you want information, ask your doctor.

It's more important than ever for all of us to speak plainly, truthfully, and directly about public health.

He also had the local Catholic Church on his dozing list in part because they opposed gambling. Not a great guy!

And also true about a growing plant. Sometimes you have to prune it to get energy out into fruiting or make the growth healthy, but pruning is in the interest of driving growth too.
theodramatist.com
I’m sure that’s true.

I believe it’s actual the combo prayer book hymnal.

Our problem in the Cold War was trying to preserve capitalism, even if it meant supporting dictatorships, rather than trying to preserve democracy, even if it meant supporting socialism.
sjshancoxli.liberalcurrents.com
we have to be willing to just fuck with foreign governments in order to promote pro-democracy forces and harm pro-authoritarian forces in those countries

*that's* our actual interest, not whatever faff natsec heads preach about "the rules based order"

I think that's exactly right! I have yet to experience a truly mainline church that was growing numerically that wasn't also growing spiritually—vital mainline congregations are growing ones.

Multiple airports are now announcing they will refuse to play Kristi Noem’s government-funded video blaming “Democrats” for the government shutdown.

“We believe the Hatch Act clearly prohibits use of public assets for political purposes and messaging,” one airport said.

No I think it makes sense! The vast majority of people who wear collars ARE priests
theodramatist.com
It's because people think collar = priest

This isn't important, but: A weirdly high number of y'all keep referring to ministers/pastors as priests.

This is particularly odd, since *most* Christians in the U.S. belong to traditions that generally do not call their clergy priests!
