Wes Streeting claims there are too many diagnoses of anxiety, autism, and ADHD. But when people are oppressed by neoliberalism, and others cannot comply with its demand for uniformity, he is really seeking to destroy evidence of dissent for his toxic worldview. www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/12...

Spot on! Neurodivergent people have been the canaries in the coal mine for decades. But things have become far worse in the last decade.

Neuro-conforming folks will also start to feel it too. Modern life is not good for the well-being of most humans at the moment.

Unintended consequences. Poor woman.😔

Though tech has brought us many benefits, I sometimes long for the analogue days. Push button TV anyone?

And speaking to a real person on a help desk.
This Pluribus ad on a fridge caused a schizophrenic woman named Carol to be hospitalized.

On this day in 1961, the drug thalidomide was withdrawn in the UK.

Even now, we're still using faulty animal studies to predict the safety of drugs in humans. It's time for change.

Can @greenparty.org.uk point me to a policy or statement on this please?
I like what I hear from @zackpolanski.bsky.social but I want to know his stance on our food security, feeding our nation affordably & farmer support.

As a vegan, I don’t like animal ag, but this podcast is a big wake-up call on the urgent need to support U.K. farming.

Some nonsense from Sky - green energy is driving up bills? How about nuclear, it just added £1bn a year to our bills. We get no energy at all for that, it’s just to fund the 10 to 15 year construction phase - and then we get the most expensive electricity we’ve ever known.

Community hubs are reimagining empty spaces as places to repair, share, learn and build a sense of belonging. When people come together to create, fix and collaborate, they turn local spaces into living, thriving neighbourhoods.

So great to see a Youth Led nature reserve in #Norfolk

I can identify with Jade, but at the other end of the age spectrum. I’ve always valued nature but lacked the knowledge. I’m just learning now! It’s never too late.

In last weeks budget Rachel Reeves axed the Eco scheme and knocked £1bn of the nation’s energy bills - with the other hand, in the same month - the cost of building a new nuke at Sizewell was added to our energy bills - it was also £1bn for the first year.
