If the audience already doesn't exist for a movie, he definitely isn't bringing it in.

But it's also a property that I'm not sure anyone has *ever* cared about. Not discounting Leto's ability to inspire an audience to stay home, but having an otherwise great cast list can only get you so far if nobody gives a shit about the material.
