¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Weird
thejaymo.net
but when I click on the edit pencil I see the updated title
thejaymo.net
In fact! Now that post is actually published, i'm getting the old post title in the editor again.
thejaymo.net
Is the caching on the generated oEmbed logic too aggressive/eager on the initial publish intent?
thejaymo.net
@leaflet.pub BUG REPORT: If you write a post, click publish, realise the title is wrong, use the back button, and change the title

You will see the title change reflected in the editor, in the main drafts page but not in the publish preview, or the embed that goes out when you actually hit publish.

@thejaymo.net 's latest edition of the delightful BYENNE, an ongoing series of short-form poetry, similar in feel to compact Japanese `Haiku` and Persian `Musawwari` miniature paintings.

You might remember, I spent late August bank holiday in a junk yard. We were there to shoot a music video for my band which turned out total dad-core, and I love it.

who knew being taught how to think on a philosophy degree was useful? lol

Maybe there's a benefit to giving people an *actual education*, rather than an intense skill acquisition process (cf. engineering, sciences etc.) for the job market.
thejaymo.net
Honestly philosophy grads (a so called useless degree) continue to to tear it up into senior positions in the corpo/tech world and are all doing really well in the current environment.

Literally everyone I know doing cool things in tech, particularly in AI, have arts and humanities backgrounds.

had some drinks with folks at the royal society in London a month or so ago just after the LLMs got gold in the IMO and they were all upbeat. "we can all get to work on 'new types of maths' now"

I don't know if this is the same for everyone, but ability to think is bound up with the physical layout of my workspace. Everything is mentally spatialised.
