Ok I have actually managed to pull myself out of this funk and work on a short story so thats nice 🙂
Going through the slight mental dusting myself off atm of having shown a piece of fiction I wrote to several friends and other writers and then largely gotten responses that ranged from mildly positive to 'meh' to 'I dunno dude this kinda sucks you should try something else.'

I think I've finally hit the point where there's so few new games I want to play these days that are graphically taxing that I can't really see myself getting a major PC upgrade now beyond replacing anything that breaks or maybe changing OS down the line.

Spent 15 years wondering what a game I had a random glimpse of in 2010 was only to discover that if I'd have had my answer if I'd bothered to boot up the free copy of Heroes of Might and Magic 2 I've had sat in my GOG account forever.

Child me had two major cartoon tv shows that I thought were good at the time that I fear to go back to because they're probably both garbage. One is this show and the other is The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Kinda low key tempted to go back and watch the early 3D animated Donkey Kong a country show I watched relentlessly as a kid just so I can burn out any residual notions I still have that it was good.
