Went to the pancake house in the woods where I rebelled & got pumpkin-stuffed French toast
Big slab of pumpkin cream cheese stuffed French toast with a side of house made maple baked beans and maple coffee. Small, glass bottle of their own maple syrup which yes I’m going to keep the bottle. Small covered bridge that has a Parker’s Maple Barn sign on it. Pumpkins and mums and cornstalks along the front. Benches on the inside for sharing secrets and apple cider donuts. Wagon wheel leaning up against a wagon wheel. Fall trees in the background. Stuffed toy black bear on top of a high shelf looking down upon us peasants.

Flowers for no reason is the best reason
A bright bouquet of flowers with a fall color scheme of yellow, orange, rust, and purple. A berry spray and some white whispy tiny floral stalks. Lots of various greenery. All wrapped up in paper and tied with a piece of twine. I walked around cradling it for a little. It’s sitting on my sink area because I was too excited to be aesthetic. Thanks, C. Fresh, bright bouquet of flowers haphazardly thrown into a blue, vintage wide-mouth ball jar. Artfully posed in front of a cabinet with a scrub brush off to the back left that we will ignore. Definitely needed a hit of color in these dark times.

The cats and I are gawking at the hot pink clouds
Trees in various shades of autumnal colors with bright pink clouds painted across a light blue sky. The clouds started out as shades of orange probably because they wanted to show a little seasonal solidarity. Tighter in shot of the intense orange-pink clouds hidden behind the thinning trees. Disco sky is showing out. The red and orange leaves of the trees are envious.
