Fuck a Spotify Wrapped. I know what three songs I listened to 1000 times in a row, I was there

My entire Spotify Year in Review thing is entirely skewed by my workout playlist and my binaural beats reading playlists. My music age is 25, which is bullshit, because no good new music has been released since 1997. Also annoys me when American bands make my list AA most all American bands suck.

Increasingly tech is seeking to solve for the problem "humans exist," which is what you'd expect to see in a system where humans are seen as a cost and not a value.
“Humans get tired; some days are better than others. The AI does not get tired. It doesn’t get grumpy. It doesn’t have a bad day. The AI is consistent,” says Juan Espinoza, vice provost” demonstrating that humans can be profoundly ignorant and make vibe-based decisions.

Judging from the quotes in here, university admins are some of the least “ai literate” people in existence. No wonder they think students need to be taught how to use it.

Guess I gotta just post through it.

If it is the stance of this administration that drugs are weapons in armed conflict … shouldn’t my right to bear those arms not be infringed?

Can’t believe it’s December and my wife only just told me she has a kid in her class this year called Gandalf, and they have a sibling called Howl.

When I was still doing the teaching thing, I had a kid Called Thor. Last name Hammer.

The problem with less bad people than the very bad people is that the less bad people are still very bad people.

It's bad people all the way down.

Hillary Clinton blames TikTok and “totally made up” videos for young people’s views on Israel and Palestine.

She says social media influenced “not just the usual suspects” but also “young Jewish Americans who don’t know the history and don’t understand.”

Please stop yelling at politicians online when they say they didn’t see the news, or don’t know what was happening. You only succeed in looking like a dog who thinks someone threw ball.

We know he/she/they are lying, yelling about it online ain’t gonna change shit.

This is a story as old as time.
