At some point during everyone’s usually boring, misogynistic, and/or racist takes about why Democrats “can’t” elect a woman in 2028, someone should acknowledge Shelby v. Holder & the partial gutting of the VRA, especially as the conservative SCOTUS is likely breaking it further within a few months.
