Not really outside the surprisingly casual drop that Blaze's the princess to the sol EMPIRE, which seems to be spread planet wide.

Kinda wild. The very first time I thought it was a mistranslation on the sonic channel art but it's even in the comics and Crossworlds. It's an empire, not a kingdom

Just left the animal hospital after dropping off an injured baby possum. Poor fella was dragging his back legs, so fingers crossed it wasn't a spinal injury.

Not the actual possum pictured. He was hiding under the blankets, and I wasn't gonna disturb him for a photo Op.

We can cheer on the acts and the bravery in said acts without knowing the names. When, really, we shouldn't know the names. Largely due to the safety concerns but also because then it can be ANYONE, and that alone is also really powerful in an age like this.

There's already major news outlets doing YT livestreams of the protests. They've clearly got a camera on a tripod somewhere and just letting it catch people as they walk by, audio too.

Folks gonna need to be careful.

I'm all for people boycotting Nintendo if that's what they wanna do, but at least do it for the right reasons. Gods know there's plenty of them with their shitty practices recently.

But that feels like that ought to come secondary to the very real things they could be doing, like you said.

Also, the pervasiveness of the false equivalence of comparing it to the HP situation.

One is an IP that is proactively being used, rather openly, by its creator to hurt minorities while the other is just another shitty company in an industry rife with them now, stuck in a lose-lose situation.

Also, there's always the chance that Trump gets involved to 'protect his boys' or some shit and then that has the risk of bringing heat onto Japan/Japan's tech industry.

It's really a lose-lose situation.

Nintendo would effectively be suing the US government. It wouldn’t do anything positive for anyone.
