Unseen Gods, by Justin Holley (pub by Flame Tree Press) is a nice cosmic horror novel, a proposal on the shorter side that you will enjoy if you prefer a bit more of the weight on the imagery, a more classic approach to the genre.

I've probably written close to 3500 pages with fountain pen although not all fiction. The fiction I have written long hand were better as a first draft than my typed first drafts. There's something about the brain/hand/pen connection that just works for me.
And if you're already quite mad, like Neal Stephenson, you might write upwards of 3500 pages with a fountain pen.
