The wildly unpopular SAVE Act has been re-animated in a new "Show Your Papers" scheme. The Election Assistance Commission, at the behest of the Christian Nationalist "America First Legal Fdn" is proposing a new regulation. PLS submit your comment. A quick glance tells me this is being astroturfed.

Same 2 vehicles that stopped the cyclist on Clark and Ridge. Also saw vid from the driver of the car they had boxed in. Threatened to "yank" the occupants out and arrest them for following them.

From a back porch. This was in the middle of an alley, away from the El tracks. I've seen 2 videos of this from the women inside the vehicle they stopped and threatened BEFORE the guy in blue intervened and became their target.

They have been all over Rogers Park and Edgewater today. Very threatening of documenters--cornering and threatening them with arrest. Neighbors are NOT HAVING IT. Whistles, cameras, shouting at them everywhere.

They are also next door to you in Albany Park, Avondale, and Belmont Cragin. Tear gas was deployed on an Albany Park residential street an hour or so ago, because the neighbors came out to warn people and to scream at ICE.

Every single Dem lawmaker SHOULD BE DEMANDING THIS. Cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, NYC (which is also being threatened) are the life blood of the Party. Are we supposed to Vote Blue No Matter Who even as the Party remains silent about this violence being unleashed upon us?

They arrested a WGN videographer this morning who was driving. Foster & Lincoln. ICE rammed her car and dragged her out. Many witnesses filmed them. Her name is Debbie Brockman. WGN knows. My guess is they are going to claim she "doxxed" them by fiming them. Like they did with Marimar Martinez.

It took a long time but in the past three election cycles we managed to finally break the Chicago Machine. Lots of younger DSA and United Working Families/Working Families Party people, many of them 1st gen US citizens, many of them queer have taken office.
