With Eric Adams dropping out, let’s remember the craziest low-stake moment of his time in the spotlight: when he named the concert where Curtis Mayfield was paralyzed *before* getting to sing a note as the best concert he’s ever been to.

From a 2021 Vanity Fair interview:
The new ATP (the men’s pro tennis tour) logo vs. the Greater Toronto Area’s 407 Express Toll Route logo.
It’s giving…Greater Toronto’s 407 Express Toll Route.
But also pollsters are fake and wrong according to the same guy, so who’s to say?
🎶 I will remember you 🎶

I'm mad. Please put in the newspaper that I'm mad.

I'm happy that Mamdani won. But I won't let that get in the way of my celebrating Cuomo losing.
I’ll pay to watch the plane leave for Florida.
First time in a long time that a day started *and* ended with good news.

this is an obvious overcorrection that misleads the polling data and will lead to disaster in the Heartland. the results of tonight show that the Democrats should moderate: adopting two or at most three of the five pillars of Islam
if democrats are serious about winning they need to learn from tonight and convert to islam
Ackman is clearly as skilled at crafting slogans as he is at competing against professional tennis players.
Update #2: Ackman is still convinced Cuomo is going to win, and has proposed Cuomo adopt the slogan "MNYGA"

There is some sad irony in McClatchy shutting its DC bureau the same day that Dick Cheney died.

That bureau (then Knight-Ridder) did some of the best, most skeptical reporting anywhere in the run-up to the Iraq War. And they took a lot of shit for it at the time.

Damn... this one is rough.
And if you’re not confident in Shota because of his second-half numbers, don’t look at Framber’s…
But who’s covering Don Cherry right now if Warmington is in New York?

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
« I got fake people showin' fake love to me »
Somehow I bet he’s seen all of them. Do you think Jakob sent him the Godzilla soundtrack when the Wallflowers covered « “Heroes” »?

Also, I can now hear Bob covering « Come With Me » and…I dunno, I don’t hate it.
The bloodlettings will be performed with RFK Jr.’s personal leeches (once they are removed from his body).
He’s just going from Kaiser to Kaiser, I see.
Are they even allowed to show a non-white soldier in their weird Christian military propaganda?
I honestly think he could’ve gone however long they needed him. They’re going to write books about his series.
Now imagine someone who just discovered or fell in love with baseball this fall then checking out a mid-April matchup between the Pirates and the White Sox.
The consensus in my group chat is that the slide was « cunty » and it’s hard to disagree
I placed a big order last year when they were having a sale and everything was really solid (their syrups are great for a variety of cocktails or flavoured coffees like the occasional PSL). Plus, it’s nice to support a small business in Québec City.
