It says things about their small state, low tax, up by the bootstraps cynicism that they assume a diagnosis opens up entrepreneurial zeal in SEN families, rather than just doing what’s possible to exist, but then this is how they do othering. Depressingly Reform do have backers in this community too
Ta - think they have a winter market happening at the end of November if that’s appropriate.

A questionnaire went out about the resource centres. I went big on how it’s a false economy to close them as you only end up spending on interventions later, but who knows whether that influences things.
They’ve run fewer things over the last 18 months or so too. It seems every funding pot has more organisations applying that can be satisfied. All that on top of the cost of everything (rent for the building went up 15k pa overnight in April).
Today, a tetchy affair, one that reminds you why whatever they pay referees it isn’t enough to make me do it. Quite a few examples of all 22 players and both benches appealing for something, anything, to be different. All the fun of the fair.
Dw i’n addo nad ydw i’n gwneud hwn ar taithpeldroed.wordpress.com ond allwn i ddim beio chi tasech chi’n amau fy ngeiriau 🤣
I don’t know if it’s a false memory but I’m convinced we watched the Andrew and Fergie wedding in school 😬
Plus the leagues and various arms of the RFL being split into separate organisations with separate heads, all slowly merged back into each other over a period of a few years.
My 14yo daughter chose to travel to Buckley on Sunday with the Inspiral Carpets Best Of (ok, not cool). I promise you she has been exposed to All The Music, and what she digs more than anything else ever are The Smiths/New Order/Roses/Mondays/Inspirals/Charlatans - I promise you it isn't our fault.

2027 - 14 graded clubs
2028 - due to funding concerns, 12 graded clubs
2029 - due to stale competition, playoff for possible promotion spot
2030 - as odds stacked against Championship winner, automatic promotion
2031 - to provide bridge between leagues, super 8s
2032 - for certainty, 14 graded clubs
So if Bradford played at Valley Parade they’d probably be above Hull…

All these people who imagine themselves Prime Ministerial material yet are also too fearful to have an honest conversation about so many things - drugs, Brexit, the housing market - in case they get a negative headline in the Mail.
Yup. Without wanting to sink to mud slinging (ok, it’s mud slinging) it isn’t every other country in the world’s fault that England are more boring now they win than they were when they lost more, so you should always resist the idea that there needs to be a change to make internationals interesting
International breaks get so much hate, but ones like these are good. So many stories, so many incredible moments:

Nigeria coming from nowhere to secure a qualifying berth
South Africa qualifying for the first time since they hosted
Cape Verde becoming second smallest nation to ever qualify
Doesn’t hurt to have been on the Gwladys Street! It definitely feels like it’s in a good place, quite vibrant and visible with a big demand for Welsh education, although it doesn’t seem to translate into a bounce for overall numbers of speakers, although a brain drain doesn’t help there.
No for both but the Welsh pronunciation deserves praise. Feel free to lean into the accent, it’s the next stage of my Cymraeg journey, to say Abergele in the correct manner without sounding like I’m doing a bit.
My alarm bells went when Bellamy said he’d rather fail “having a go” than succeed not doing so. I can tell you now that I wouldn’t. He’s under no risk in this tournament cycle but he’s going to have to compromise between now and the end of the next one.
Well, we did make a 32 team World Cup and all a lot of people did was call the guy who got them there a joker, so hopefully we can have a reassessment of that after a reminder of how hard it is.
I mean…there was a bit of hope for a minute, literally a minute. But I reckon if Wales had scored six Belgium would have managed to get eight. Soooo much work to do to be halfway adequate without the ball #walbel
Less doubt about that one 🙈
An unnatural position eh? The irony being the only way Ampadu could have avoided that was by having his arms behind his back, an actual unnatural position. It’s bullshit.

Sioned Dafydd might need to interview Kevin de Bruyne from behind a screen if the game continues in this fashion 🤣

As promised, if you’re linguistically challenged (even more so than me) then some stuff in English about today & related issues below. The game, the slightly messy background, what Buckley did right & the sense that this team could go up a notch #wxmafc
