I really need to just grab all the "good parts" from my various WIPs and then see if I can cobble them together into one good fic so I can then let them all go. (Read a few today trying to see which ones are worth cleaning up & finishing.) I don't think this would work though. (sigh.)

I'm having fun but know I've got a long ways to go when it comes to learning to write & writing well and it's especially glaring when I read other people's amazing stories (but I'm so happy there are those stories, especially when one pops up for a ship I favor that doesn't get a lot of love.)

I am totally a normal human, dropping a 25,000 word story (complete for a change) when I should be finishing the final chapter of a different story. Ah well. (Strangely enough this is the fic I started & abandoned to write that story.) (Quite proud of this one.)

ok! hello! i'm reasonably confident this is mostly functional now. it works like sites like fxtwitter and so on for making nicer, more useful embed cards for social media and chat programs... but for your fanfiction recs ;) tell your friends!

When I started writing fic featuring these two characters, my husband joked it was these versions of them (or any version with really old Gordon). (This is not what I've been doing. 😂)
Probably not practical to reread the thing I'm writing before I write each additional chapter when it's up over 80,000 words (she says as she continues a reread). This is why I shouldn't stop once I start writing I guess! I had good momentum going yesterday before I looked at the internet.

Had to update the summary of a fic after realizing I have posted 2 stories that both have kind of the same premise or at least I wrote about that particular part of the premise in the summaries. "No this is a different fic where Jim didn't learn Batman is Bruce Wayne in Dark Knight Rises." (sigh)

When you're rereading your WIP and discover a huge continuity error in an early chapter WTF. (Sigh.) I blame the fact that I have dozens of stories about these same characters that are too similiar to each other. (sigh.) (Fixed the problem in chapter 6, which I published ages ago.) Ugh.

When you're rereading your WIP and discover a huge continuity error in an early chapter WTF. (Sigh.) I blame the fact that I have dozens of stories about these same characters that are too similiar to each other. (sigh.) (Fixed the problem in chapter 6, which I published ages ago.) Ugh.
You all need to know that I own this (though I don't know where it is). They never did release a separate Gordon POP; these aren't removable from the scene with the light. (I think there is a Gordon POP from Gotham maybe?)

Wondering if there's a way you can tell AO3 to always add a certain tag to your works. Just take "Slow Burn" as a given and maybe I should also tag for "too much talking" or something.

Price keeps dropping on this amazing property but more importantly today I saw pictures from a No Kings rally in the nearest town which is way the heck up in northern MN ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cook,_M... )
So ages ago I looked at this property listing & apparently it got stuck in my head given I’ve now written two stories that kind of reference a place that would be similar to this. Or which were inspired by this, I guess.

I fixed some things in this fic in August, then freaked out at the end of September when I noticed the last two paragraphs got left off when I made that edit (WTF?).
Today I have reformatted the chat/texting parts and fixed the emdashes. Hopefully I did not break anything in the process.

Reread one of my WIPs and decided that it actually ends at a not unreasonable place so am considering putting it on AO3. Still a draft. I mean, if I find it entertaining maybe at least one other person would & it's a ship with not a lot of content out there. I dunno. Shy AF about this stuff.
