Brexit wasn’t an election.

It wasn’t even a referendum because the only referendum we had was advisory.

This was a government decision, and not even a parliamentary one.

So don’t let them compare it to elections. It’s really not.

The only betrayal of the British people is keeping Brexit.

Farage's failed Brexit promised the world and has delivered nothing but misery. So why trust Farage's Reform with the UK economy? They can't even run councils they've won.

"The Overshoot"

Net migration is collapsing, and will fall further over the coming years. We could even have net emigration.

What does that mean for the country and the political narrative as we head towards the next election?

HURRAH! Petitions are crap at making gov'ts do things they don't want to. But they are good for two things: First, making them explain why they won't do something, but second (and more important) nudging/giving them permission to do something they DO want, but that's been crowded out bandwidth-wise.

Amazing, the @dailymail.co.uk manages to publish an entire lengthy feature bewailing (!!!!) the exodus of Poles from Britain without once mentioning Brexit. Apparently this outcome (which is surely exactly what they campaigned for in 2016) is all the fault of Keir Starmer.

The great exodus: How Poles are ditching UK for their booming homeland
New statistics reveal that while 7,000 Poles arrived in the year ending last June, 25,000 returned home: a net outflow of 18,000. The UK's total Polish population has shrunk to 750,000.

🙄 It’s the hypocrisy that sticks the most. The Daily Mail spent years attacking all migrants including Poles, they fought and gaslit the public to get Brexit over the line. Now they complain about the state of the country after cheering on its decline. Vile!
2016 Daily Mail: We want foreigners out! We don’t care if it makes us poorer. Brexit means Brexit!

2025 Daily Mail: Foreigners are leaving Starmer’s Britain because this country is poor and shit!

This country would be so much better off without this hypocritical, incendiary, irresponsible rag.
