Agreed. I listened to the radio feed bc they wouldn't shut up and bc the sound of the fans in the dome was too loud. Baseball is supposed to have comfortable pauses!

As exciting as that game was, my heart couldn't take it daily. Baseball is supposed to be PASTORAL, a pastime, a sport where you crack seeds or write down box scores or knit while you watch.

As my uncle's friend famously said, "If baseball were any faster it'd be farming." This is the way ⚾️
