I'm scratching my head to think of any other Leader of the Opposition who would make these sour, badly timed and downright silly comments.
Badenoch really needs to get off X and into the real world.

Lol, actually wild stuff to say on today of all days when it's pretty good news all round.
The Guardian live page update from today:

Referring to the post from Steve Witkoff this morning (see 9.53am), Badenoch said:

■ I was not born yesterday. I think it is actually very sad that the government is having to beg people to send tweets to say something nice about Jonathan Powell.

The American ambassador to Israel has actually criticised the government, saying they are delusional for saying that they have anything to do with this peace deal.

I think that that is quite tragic, the way that the UK's reputation is falling under this Labour government.

What a cowardly grifter.

Just think how the media relentlessly hounded Angela Rayner though.

“Reform seems to do very well at gaining elected officials, but not so well at keeping them. Since May, they have shed a remarkable 24 councillors for a variety of very embarrassing reasons, including losing eight in September alone.” @pimlicat.bsky.social

The idea that Farage doesnt know Nathan Gill is ludicrous - they’ve been close for years and this story is as serious as it gets podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/b...
