She needs to camp out in front of Mike Johnson's office. Every day she can hang a new sign saying how long it has been since she was elected. Her constituents should flood Johnson's voice mail (and reporters') every day accusing him of discriminating against them by denying them an elected official.

I'm astonished. I was in high school in SoCal in the early '70s. We all used to listen to him, too. I didn't realize he was still doing his show. I'll definitely listen to this. Thank you for posting this!

I live in an urban area and know great horned owls are adapted here but until the COVID shutdown in spring of 2020, none had ever ventured near my home. I think we got too much traffic noise before then. They still come back occasionally but I remember being mesmerized hearing one in my big tree.

That headline doesn’t accurately reflect the content. The worker in question is saying the situation is already critical, not that she isn’t scared. She’s willing to speak out because the situation is dire - even before the shutdown.

RFK Jr. is getting rid of every competent scientist who supports use of the MMR vaccine. He’s stacked ACIP with people who will eventually vote to pull the CDC recommendation for the vaccine.

I’m betting ACIP is going to pull support for the MMR vaccine and there aren’t monovalent vaccines to replace them. Then, measles, and eventually mumps and rubella will explode and there will be no one competent to run the response teams. This is an anitivax plan coming to life.

Couple this info with reporting that Lindsey Halligan took this case to the GJ without first informing Bondi and I'm willing to bet Trump called Halligan himself and told her to indict now. Trump thought Bondi was dragging her feet so he did an end run.
