Oh, yes yes yes! I finally more or less got my jewelry stuff set up and I have free time this week so I'm taking commissions! For base metals (copper, nickel, brass), earrings start at $20 and everything else starts at $40! I can also do titanium and silver, please enquire for prices.
Four keychains of cat faces. One is nickel (silver color), one is brass (gold color), one is copper (reddish color), and one is nickel and copper soldered together. They each have a little rhinestone charm attached and (not pictured) the cat's name in beads. A collar pin in anodized titanium. It is a dragon skull plus several vertebrae, articulated into a chain A pair of copper earrings. Each one has a hammered bar with an amethyst bead hanging from the end A pendant cut in nickel (a silver colored metal). It is in the shape of a tiger skull, and the lower jaw is riveted in place

Coming back 8 years later but my same friend wanted to know what you thought of S.Coups' and Mingyu's unit album! Only if you feel like answering of course haha

Hey by the way does anyone I know here take commissions for knitting patterns? There's a (complicated) sweater a friend of mine wants to try and knit but we can't find an even vaguely similar pattern anywhere

Oh one more question - do you prefer brass (yellow/"gold" tone), nickel (silver tone), or copper (reddish?). No price difference, just your preference!

I have the spoons to watch videos like practically never. Just write it out! Use some photos! I am So Tired

I have run into the "photos lost on my old phone" period of my camera roll... Actually tho someone told me about a place that might be able to recover them. In the meantime I'm browsing old social media... Behold, my Halloween hair pin!
A photo of a hairpin on the shape of a pair of bat-like wings. It's worn in my hair, which is dark blond.

Quick question I did one version based on the skulls I have at home (which are broken) and a second one I used some refs online to draw a full skull - which do you like better? These are rough so final may be slightly different (gotta figure out cuts that will work)
Two sketches of rat skulls. One has the back portion of the skull broken off

Thank you! Hey everyone, am an indigenous trans artist in the global south, in perpetual housing insecurity; also permanently disabled with nerve damage that impacts my movement. Id absolutely love if you guys could like my work, or buy a print or send me a tip 🌼 (comments)

Your Cherokee words for today.
The top word is English followed by how it is written in the Cherokee language followed by how it is spelled in English then how to pronounce it phonetically.
Image is line paper with writing showing an English word followed by how it is written in the Cherokee language followed by how it is spelled and pronounced. The words are indigenous people's day and pronounced ayheeyahee ahneeyuhwee eegah

These later inspired this Christmas gift for my aunt - she asked for, basically, something she could wear on her ear without piercings. I still want to make something like this with a stretching cat, I think that would be cute
A photo of myself wearing a silver ear wrap. It features a crescent moon and two stars, and has three dangly bars hanging from it with crystal beads at the bottom, two dark blue and one clear.

I've got another pretty free week if anyone would like to commission something! I might be working on some rat skulls, too

One of my friends in HS had a grandpa whose first and last name were switched, which is why her last name was a first name (I noticed that and asked about it; he had given it in the standard Japanese order and then forever had his first name as his last name)

Nya:wëh! / 'Siyo! - Cherokee/Seneca here! Links are in my bio, if you want to toss some support my way.
Also, here's your periodic reminder that you do not have to be indigenous to go to (the vast majority of) the pow wows. Go and enjoy the music, eat the food, buy the jewelry, make some friends!

Full black head and beak looks like a Brant to me! And I'd say Akka there looks more like a white fronted except his neck is black. But also bird people have frequent and lengthy debates on the identities of animated birds and pretty much never come to any conclusions lmao

Also lots of ID sites pick the most distinguishable (and therefore often the most strongly patterned) photos they can find, which can make it confusing in the field where most individuals might not be that heavily patterned

Might have just been someone who doesn't know geese well taking a wild stab - a sort of "I don't know what those are, maybe [other species I don't know]" kind of situation?
sundaycreature.bsky.social
As far as I know, there is no subspecies of Canada geese that distinct. Black heads and white cheekies all around, I think. But if you're in Europe, imo they're even more likely to be Greylags, since that's where those are actually native.
sundaycreature.bsky.social
I don't think those are Canadas - no white cheekies. Maybe Greylags? If so they're probably escaped domestics or descended from some (assuming you're in north America)

Western Alaska was hit hard by the recent storms. Houses floated away in Kipnuk, houses flipped over, people lost everything from the flooding that came with the storms. Please donate if you can. This group has a long history of supporting AK communities.

Still pretty proud of these honestly! Made these elf ears for what my friend Eliot fondly referred to as my "hipster Zelda" look lol
A pair of photos showing some jewelry I made. On the right is the item in my hand - it's a wire ear wrap in the shape of an elf ear (there's a pair but only one is pictured). On the left I am wearing them along with a Zelda-inspired headpiece. All the jewelry is made of brass
