Well my partner and I are up shit-creek financially because of this but our little dog is going into surgery now and the vet feels very optimistic about likely outcomes. Waiting to hear for sure but she’ll probably be okay 😭😭

This morning my partner let our dogs in from outside and one of them had a thick branch impaled in her chest. Got her to the vet and waiting on a CT scan to see if it punctured her lungs and what kind of surgical intervention she’ll need. I’m a total wreck.

This was the first time I’d ever heard of Moral Scrupulosity OCD, spent an hour reading about it and about half that time also crying, I’ve never seen this part of my internal experience ever described before 🤯😭

Oh... OH. I am nothing if not terrified of being a bad person and causing harm. Not to the extreme but also maybe cause you know... full panic breakdown last night and being so afraid of how much harm I'm causing my kid and my partner because I'm so fucking broken and sad and overwhelmed. UGH.
I'm so tired, and it's not fair that my partner hears all the ugly, hopeless thoughts in my head that I can't keep quiet. I can wear the mask for everyone else but they get the despair and it's not fair at all.

Just finished this stream up and I'm quite tired. I didn't manage to get around to the mentioned leatherwork in the middle because I came to the realization that sleep deprived leatherwork is maybe not the best idea.
Next week (starting on the 17th-ish) I will be doing that leatherwork on stream.
