I'm all the same but didn't go to college until a lot later. I worked in offices in all the suburbs and whites ABSOLUTELY pretended racism was dead in the '90s even as they were smirkily-racist to me, the 1st and often Only Black in the office! I was their guinea pig & Negro To Ask Everything!

Be warned, I planned my big EU bday trip around it. Well, 10+ hours in a pressurized plane will bring it on 2 days after arrival and 7 WHOLE DAYS EARLY!! On My Bday, with monster cramps, I could barely stumble to store for supplies (I ran out), poor language skills & their stuff was not adequate!

I'm not on FB but less than a month ago, I discovered my play-cousin had passed. Googled his name and a video of his funeral popped up on YT! No poster board stand-up pics and only a glimpse of my play-Auntie. We're estranged but I would like to have had a warning or pic of the obit!

I have & would NEVER send food back. I am, in fact, so excited & appreciative of fine dining, Chefs have sent mignardises(?) to my delight! In '13, '14 or '15 Colicchio & Son-NY & dining solo, made me multiple tiny gems!

Making my regular Hamburger & Meatball Stroganoff from scratch before realizing I was out of sour cream. I substituted cream cheese, a little milk and a healthy squeeze of lemon juice and it really worked well!

I wish your word were enough but I've seen & heard about spiteful ppl!!

Lastly, I've tried ordering med-well steak but the results vary so much! I've left half a steak because blood red meat turns my stomach! I only want the slightest pink & NO Bloody Red jus!!
