chatgpt is much like an improv comedy group
1) you are the audience, giving it prompts
2) it produces things roughly shaped like your prompt
3) it is trained to respond with Yes, And
4) it has the factual accuracy of improv

Even libraries on other continents (well, near other continents) know that Dr. Hayden is a brilliant leader and that this is a hilariously tragic own-goal on the part of our entire nation.
Per @washingtonpost.com: 'President Donald Trump on Thursday fired Carla Hayden, the Librarian of Congress — the first woman and first African American to hold the position. She was informed of the decision in a terse, two-sentence email'.

The Cardinals were overwhelmingly focused on rebuilding their defense during the draft, so this subsequent selection of free agent Leo XIV, most recently from Chicago, is a bit of a curveball; will be interesting to see how he fits into their new scheme.

The current trend of asking AI image generators to exactly recreate a picture over dozens of iterations, and the generator invariably turning a realistic human figure into one of the ship passengers from Wall-E, feels like something we'll look back on as a missed warning.

Alex articulates it much better than I could - the parts that are easy to quantify (and tie to performance/compensation measures) are sped up, but the total time and effort investment to produce a result of similar quality remains flat.
I keep hammering this point. GenAI doesn't save time, it just kicks that time/work down the road, usually to someone else who now has to deal with it.
"AI is creating new work that cancels out some potential time savings from using AI in the first place.
One very stark example, there are a lot of teachers who now say they spend time trying to detect whether their students are using ChatGPT to cheat on their homework."
