No one else is going to swoop in and save us. Liberal democracy is a tool we can use to save ourselves.

But will Netflix give Zaslav his year’s severance & kick him to the curb?

Because if so this gross violation of anti-trust might be worth it.

Profits represent the value the shareholders were able to steal.

It is so funny when I see someone called “thatamerican” who is super obviously a paid-to-troll-american-politics account.

Their slips are still showing.

Congress is full of lawyers & CEOs, but it also has 98 veterans. More than 18% of Congress served in the military (compared to 6.1% of the population).

The double-tap is an affront to their service in a way just the bombings weren’t. It’s a weird insider perspective, but it is common in Washington.
Can someone explain to me why they think an administration that’s been carrying out war crimes for a year straight with impunity would impeach someone when they have all houses of power

35 points and zero of them are “build houses” 🙃
I want to challenge you to expect more from our leaders than finger pointing & cable tv hits-- your rep should listen and then put ideas forward to make life better. Here's a start--a 35 point plan to build more houses in MA and to make them more affordable for working families. buff.ly/Hu3VRXF

I spent the first 30 days of this campaign visiting the 39 communities in our Congressional district and listening to your ideas. Here's where I want to start my work as your rep.

the economy is understimulated because people aren't buying things

to counter this, we should stimulate the economy with stimulus checks

in order to bring stability, we should keep doing it consistently, perhaps every month, for every person, universally

it's quite basic really

The wild thing: this would cost America so much money. Almost no other country charges people who don’t live there taxes, but we do!
Leavitt’s citizenship comments clash with SCOTUS

Karoline Leavitt: “You’re either a U.S. citizen or not — You can’t be a U.S. citizen & a citizen of another country.”

The Supreme Court: It ruled in 1967 that the government can’t strip U.S. citizenship unless a person voluntarily relinquishes it.

“What if rich kids take advantage of free school lunches?” is like asking “What if rich executives take advantage of public transportation?”

What if they do?

They probably won’t. But what if they do?

Well, nothing.

For years, the disability community has been used by industry as a shield against Medicare For All.

In new polling from @dataforprogress.org, we asked disabled voters whether they support M4A:

62% Support among voters who ID as disabled
63% Support among voters who do not ID as disabled

If he starts supporting DSA policy winning might be worth the effort.
When buying a house is unattainable and jobs are disappearing, it's no surprise young people think they can’t succeed, especially young men.

It's not their fault. It’s Washington’s fault for allowing the middle class to be hollowed out just to make rich people richer.

Democrats care more about what people who will never vote for them think than what their base thinks.

Since people don’t vote on policy, that means it is impossible for a poll-obsessed Democratic Party to represent the left.

We must primary every politician building their personality out of polls

Saying socialism is the intermediate stage between capitalism and communism is like saying bisexuality is the intermediate stage between being straight and gay.

Bisexuals exist. Socialism exists. It doesn’t need anything else to justify it.
