The Silent Hill 2 remake was a big deal for me. I was so excited, I did the bulk of this fanart in the days before it released. I just finished up the hand lettering today and wanted to share!

(Do we use tags on this site?? #silenthill2 #fanart)
fanart from silent hill 2 featuring maria and mary. maria is upright and mary is upside down. maria has text that says "mary?" next to her head. mary has text that says "maria?" next to her head. fanart from silent hill 2 featuring maria and mary. mary is upright and maria is upside down. mary has text that says "maria?" next to her head. maria has text that says "mary?" next to her head.
A former colleague released a demo for his 3D puzzle game made in UE! It's such a chill/calm experience. Right now the outlook is bleak (6 player peak on the demo), but I hope that changes cause it's _gorgeous_ and so satisfying. store.steampowered.com/app/3897520/Pazleum/ 🙏 #indiedev #indiegamedev

I think it's an awesome contrast. The music feels very human in scale and it feel a bit calm.
This is probably the way, but how to stop torturing yourself? I'm still working on that bit haha
This sounds sooo cool! I really enjoy watching you work on audio stuff because I feel like it expands my ideas about what is possible.
I am so curious to hear what you mean. Would you ever be willing to share a before/after for the trial and error to make the audio feel good?
I've decided to un-deprecate <b> and <i> html tags.
No screenshot saturday for me this weekend. I'm laboring in the art mines on an <i>awesome</i> commission with a hard deadline this week. I'll cook up a fun project peek for you (I already know what I wanna share) for next weekend!
I also came here to also comment on the champions (well more than 200 of them?!) who are obsessed with your game. Having that huge peak at the right side of the graph is spectacular. Congrats!!!
It's not Saturday, but I'm trying. Here's a little "beauty lighting" I've been experimenting with on the terminal. A nice little bloom there giving it a bit of nostalgic glow.

Btw, this is the first screenshot since I switched to Forward+!

what the heck, everything in this clip looks incredible!!
I know!! I've noticed people react really strangely to you featuring them in a feed that has 300+ followers!

@eternalskiestcg.bsky.social Just want to thank you for all the work you put in on making great feeds. I look at your feeds more than anything else on Bluesky!
I forgot that you can see the current game time in the top left of the screenshot even!
This week I made a time manager! It's cool for coding reasons, but it also inspired me to add some details to the input decks. The screens, bars, & locks will all animate in conjunction with the larger system!

These decks are inspired by AV equipment racks!

A screenshot of Project Data Mind from in Unreal Engine. It shows a mockup level with a placeholder gray grid material on all the 3D objects. In the foreground is a cabinet of input decks on a shelf against the wall, beyond it is a switch with screens above it, and further beyond that is some large open windows with yellow light coming out of them. In the background the hallway curves out of sight and some small ceiling lights illuminate the dark part of the hallway.
Ohhh interesting. I'd expect a tone a bit more formal, perhaps even a bit stuffy or antiquated. It almost makes me think of a rich non-adventuring wealthy author writing about their disconnected notion of what a traveling adventurer might experience.
Thank you soo much! That's just what I was aiming for (in a kind of NASA photography way)
Awh thanks, Sylar! It means a lot coming from someone whose WIP is breathtaking 😍 I can't wait to eventually make mine aesthetic, too!
There's not much to see in project data mind yet, but the starbox is one thing worth sharing. (However, everything you see is subject to change!) Consider this my first (and belated) #screenshotsaturday

A screenshot of a graybox room with a placeholder grid material. It is shaped like some sort of living room with a big widow showing outer space outside. The dev left several lines of debug text on screen in the top left corner.
😍😍😍 Unfortunately I love the outcome, so you wont hear me discouraging the practice.
"I have to make things easy for myself, but I'm constantly making design decisions that complicate it!" I need this printed on a shirt with a big "guilty" stamp. If I find anything (other than long term mindfulness) that helps, I promise to share it.
