apparently they also broke Form Notifications, their in-house email notification extension (to email respondent and to form owner). workspace.google.com/marketplace/...

Jason Brown said same-sex ice dance!
[About Same sex ice dance becoming a thing]: I really can't wait to have people explore that. And I always have found that having the visual representation goes such a long way in terms of changing or impacting a sport.

Thanks to the ISU, you can't use Depeche Mode released in late 1989 for the 90s RD but you can skate to AI slop copying Bon Jovi songs from 1986! ⛸️

It's live, and you've got only about another 20 minutes to enter!

It was a joy putting together the prize pack this year, and I am just pleased as punch to see chat's reaction to it. ROCKS! TEETH TEETH TEETH! FOR THE CHILDREN!

Not sure how many years I can take credit for having convinced* Rollacrit to sponsor a Desert Bus prize pack, but I figure at least 2, so hey! Another giveaway that I helped make happen! 😂

*It did not take hardly any convincing at all, I literally just said it and they went right for it.

i understand this framing but i think it's inaccurate. i think we never figured this out at all. Google figured out how to monetize the open web, and publishers were secondary beneficiaries. But at no point were publishers ever actually fully in charge of their monetization, like in the print era.
We just spent the last 25 years of the internet figuring out how to monetize content.

This has been a HUGE transformation for publishing (journalism and other kinds!) and key to it it was the rise of "search engine optimization" or SEO, but also general cross-linking and promotion.

Why we don’t use AI in our house.

- Excessive resource utilization (power and water) that will harm our communities and people
- AI was built through theft, stealing without compensating people for their work
- AI is wrong a majority of the time (which continues to waste resources)

Housing is too expensive because your private equity douchebro friends hoovered up an unsustainable percentage of the goddamn available market.

Way to racist dog whistle to cover up extreme end-stage Capitalism of the people who have to bought and paid ya [REDACTED]
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

If anyone else would like to match my match that would be super neato, but at the very least let's keep those early $5 donations coming! Onward to $10,000!

And then we still have to pay for most of the actual care, until we reach the deductible, and even after that, until we hit out of pocket maximums.
“The average family in the US currently pays $6,850 annually for health insurance, and the average annual payment for employers is $20,143,” Apollo’s Torsten Sløk writes, in a new note. “That is a total annual cost for health insurance per family of $26,993.”
