Do not trust cops. Do not talk to cops. If a cop stops you ask if you're being detained and leave. Do not tell cops about your day. Do not interact with cops. They pretend to be nice as an evidence gathering tactic. Like they take classes on fooling you into trusting them.

The Austin police department shot me in the chest with a less lethal round for trying to help a person off the ground during a protest. They fired tear gas at anti ICE protesters a few months ago. Do not be foolish enough to embrace them.

I want to compare this to what my brothers and I did with the WiiU, but the reason for that price drop was cuz that was one of Nintendo's biggest lows. While the Switch 2 is doing much better despite the ridiculous overpricing.

My hopes aren't exactly high...

Like, if there's ANY chance the execs at Nintendo stop being greedy dicks and drop the price somewhere down the line, it will most likely be within the last few years of the Switch 2's lifespan. And by then, there should be plenty to play.

My original plan was to wait and see what Kirby Air Riders was gonna be priced at (the optimist in me that refuses to die in spite of everything is convinced Sakurai will fight for no more than $60), and maybe try and get a Switch 2 bundle with it.

But that would only be 1 or 2 games to play

I've played Mario Kart World on my brother's Switch 2 a few times, and yeah it is a fun time. I'm sure if I put time into online or try to find some way to make content out of Free Roam, I could get some more mileage out of it... but I'm sorry, I'm already kind of bored of it

The more I think about it, the more I convince myself that it is REALLY not worth getting a Switch 2 right now.

The price thing is still a big deal, but even beyond that, Donkey Kong and Pokémon are currently the only two games I want right now, and that's it! And I could get Pokémon for Switch 1!
