I'm very grateful to whoever planted all these bulbs. These cheery blooms brought me so much joy.

Thrilled to see a couple of tūī not far from my house in Huntsbury. I’ve never seen them in Ōtautahi before. I stood and listened to them for about 10 minutes. Sorry - photo doesn’t do them justice.

Just finished Intermezzo. Loved it. Sally Rooney writes so beautifully about grief, love in all its forms, messy relationships, loss, and the human condition.

Today's rally just after the cops turned up. I think Nicola arrived at the same time as them but not 100% sure because a car dropped someone off directly in front of the entrance who then kept their back to us (typical). The rest of the event attendees walked over from the car park. #nzpol #bhn

Received a voucher for Tussock Hill Winery in Huntsbury for a significant birthday last month, and dined there today on a beautiful Ōtautahi autumn day. The food was exquisite - as good as anything in Waipara, Waiheke or Central Otago. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

Update #2 I picked the first passion fruit today. They’ve taken ages to ripen. Still a way to go for most of them.

Well done Aotearoa. You have been absolutely and resoundingly clear in your rejection of Seymour's toxic bill. Over 307,000 of us made submissions with around 90% opposed. Yes, 90%!!! I am so proud of who we are as a nation today. 1/

Went to see Tinā last night. A beautiful, very emotional film, and the singing is glorious. Warning to Ōtautahi people, the EQ scenes are quite triggering.
