playing astral chain finally, one of the few platinum developed games i've not gotten to. i'm not sure how i feel about the side mission parts but the rest of it is really good. it's nowhere near as tight as any of the kamiya directed stuff but it's flashy and fun

ya'll forestrike really is something special. i don't think it was marketed well but it's quickly become one of my favorites from this stacked year. i can't think of anything that plays like it. it's like a real time version of into the breach is the best way i can describe it

in regards to this, i think 100% of games would just be straight up better by diminishing or totally removing these elements. they are an insidious but expected part of modern game design

the game award nominees look as expected, get rid of death stranding and put blue prince on there though. from what i understand blue prince has not and probably will not be translated out of english so i understand, but remove death stranding 2 anyway
