yeah everything around then was starting to get wayyyy easier to bring more people into gaming, which was a good thing i think. i'm still surprised a game with both suda51 and shinji ended up being a part of that even given the time. nice to know there's a fourth difficulty tho

i was gonna go just try to play the original but i saw reviews complaining that the remaster was literally a 1 to 1 port of the game to the pc with no changes, which is all i ever want a remaster to be lol

i do wish the game was a little bit harder but i absolutely love the encounter variety with the darkness mechanic, even with the combat being easy it still feels like you're constantly wanting to move all over the place and switch weapons, like there's always something to be doing

i didn't even know this game existed before the remaster despite being a huge fan of shinji mikami and a less huge but still fan of suda51. i find it funny neither one of them are the director and yet it still feels like a game made by both of them

took me a while too but i did eventually get there. i think there are some ways to make the controls at least much closer to photoshop

mods seem very difficult to get working though so if you're a big modder might want to also have a dual boot or emulator or something

i have only been using mint for a bit but my much more savvy friend was the one that recommended it and he plays top of the line stuff through steam without a single problem because of (if i understood him right) the steam deck proton layer. he has hundreds of games and all of them have worked

highly recommend linux mint, so far the easiest one to use coming from windows
