I'm in Social Services. I have a 28 year old *grandmother* in my caseload. Sometimes it's not mean old rich people, it's a failure of personal responsibility. One woman who is 26 & has five children. It's cheaper to keep extending her TANF rather than footing the bill for five kids in day care.
