I LOVE Winco. Its stock is majority employee owned. Prices are great, big stores with a big selection of everything. It's also 50 miles away.

I don't shop at "family run independent grocery stores" because they are too expensive. I feel no obligation to indulge their fantasy of being an entrepreneur. If your business can't compete with the big boys, get into something else.

You admit they have low prices. They have a great produce section. Research this;When WalMart moves into an area, the standard of living rises because their prices are lower. If independent shops want to compete, they need to lower their prices. I have an obligation to spend my family's money wisely
