When #ECComics tried to reprint the pre-code story #JudgementDay, Judge Charles Murphy of the #ComicsCodeAuthority, without authority, tried to get the black hero removed. When editor #WilliamGaines said no, he tried the beads of sweat. Bill said "Fuck you!", hung up and printed the story anyway.

Back when you couldn't just Google Image search everything, I saw Art Spiegelman live. I wanted this page so much, I purchased it on eBay. Now you can just search for it online, but back then, I was just happy to have the magazine in my hands, even if all I really wanted was this one page.
