And this was just the tip of the iceberg. It was another great weekend at @baltimorecomiccon.bsky.social and spending it with my podcast brothers @amazingspidertalk.com and @mouthdork.bsky.social made it an amazing experience.

Until next year!
I met the cast of X-Men TAS and Giancarlo Esposito!

I told Giancarlo to go full Gus in the picture. He obliged.
Another bucket list goal: an original art commission.

JRJR is one of my favorites, and Scott Hanna not only inked this piece but he also added watercolors to it.

Very stunning one of a kind art.
A bucket list goal of mine was to own an original page of ASM. I found a page from an issue that had my letter printed in it. Now it’s mine.
I met many comic creators this weekend, but I’ve always wanted to meet Chris Claremont.

I could’ve had him sign any number of famous X-Men comics in my collection.

But instead I had him (as well as Bob Hall) sign that issue of Marvel Team-Up where Spidey teams up with the cast of SNL.
Here’s a few highlights from the weekend.

First and foremost, I made a few upgrades to my ASM collection, including ASM #13.

Mysterio is cool. If you don’t think so, you’re wrong.
I’m bummed I’m not going to a convention the next day.
Baltimore Comic Con (@baltimorecomiccon.bsky.social) had a million highlights this year, but none better than wandering the floor with @mouthdork.bsky.social and @alexgalucki.bsky.social!

HAPPY NCBD!!

In honor of ASM 978 being released, here’s all the “78’s” of ASM’s Legacy Numbering!!
My 4 favorite Drew Struzan posters.

RIP to one of the greats.
I can happily confirm that I have secured my (expensive) tickets to see Rush in Toronto.

We will pay the price, but we will not count the cost.

I’m fully expecting some people to be dissatisfied with the Peacemaker finale. For me, and for the reasons I’ve loved Gunn’s work for years, it really worked.

Please keep telling stories about messed up depressed people finding happiness. I need it.
Anyways, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers during this very emotional week.
My excitement for Rush’s reunion next year has reached its next stage: contemplating the horrifying possibility that I fail to get the tickets on Monday.

I am prepared to do deeply shameful things to see this band live (buy overpriced resale tickets).

In honor of it being the 8th of October, here’s all the “8’s” of Amazing Spider-Man’s Legacy Numbering!!
Happy 75th Anniversary, Charlie Brown.

Let it be known that both my brother and I have our mom saved in our phones with the exact same image of Lucy. We did this completely without the other’s knowledge.

If you believe the democrats shut down the government, you’re just fucking stupid.
Why do people always call comic pages “panels”?

They’ll post an entire page and say “check out this panel.” Dude, which one?
