Curious, mother, anti-capitalist wage slave, we are all just walking each other home so let's build a system that reflects it

Emphatically agree
My political hot take is that US voters should be able to recall elected representatives via petition - at any time.
No more hiding behind election terms.

Voters want a Democratic Party that fights back against the forces that have rigged the system and made their lives more difficult.

A party that comforts the afflicted and afflicts the comfortable —not a party that buckles and capitulates.

When will party leadership learn this lesson?

Authoritarianism can only succeed when democracy fails to deliver for working people.

Authoritarian parties can only succeed when the pro-democracy parties fail to fight for working people.

We need a new democracy and a new party system which can represent working people.

Absolutely epic level of bullshit from propaganda barbie.
They’ve laid off so many people that the government is now getting its economic data from DoorDash.

Karma is real.

Trump and his cronies (and the spineless Democrats) are rapidly turning us into the most "shithole country" in the world.

What a fucking tool this guy is.

The NPC vibe from Speaker Johnson is epic, so I guess he's perfect for MAGA.

Doesn't stand for a damn thing besides the whims of a geriatric former reality TV star (and the evil assholes he has running the presidency). Disgusting. Embarrassing.
In the most predictable development ever, Mike Johnson is not committing to hold a House vote on ACA subsidies

This is long overdue!!

Not just Schumer, all the Party leadership needs to go.

We either purge and retake the Democratic Party or we build a new party that actually serves the people. Nothing else will suffice.

This controlled opposition shit needs to end now!!

Schumer and all of the Democratic Party leadership have shown their true colors by getting 8 not up for reelection to fall on their swords.

All of the Party leadership needs to GTFO. You obviously are more beholden to your corporate donors than the American people. David Hogg was right!!
Every time you capitulate to a bully, they'll come back at you twice as brutally.

If you didn't learn this life lesson in third grade, GTFO of the US Senate.

Capitalism has two roles: Oppressor and Oppressed

The only way to "win" in a capitalist system is to move from being Oppressed to being an Oppressor.

Good news, though! People made this system up, and people can also make up a better one.

They are stealing from us!!

How much longer will we tolerate this?
Your reminders that the stock market isn’t the economy, and unchecked corporate greed isn’t compatible with a moral or thriving society.

I assume that it's theoretically possible to be more of a complete tool than Speaker Mike Johnson, but only because I'm a scientist.

The NPC energy from that guy is nothing short of astonishing.

Hold the line!!!

If you cave, you might as well join the terrorist organization formerly known as the GOP.
Inside a tense, three-hour meeting at the Capitol on Tuesday, a fiery Senator Bernie Sanders urged Democrats not to yield to Republicans without a real victory on health care. He was armed with fresh polling that showed voters would punish the party for giving up with nothing in return.

Hours before the first major elections since President Donald Trump’s win last November, Sen. Bernie Sanders offered a stern warning for Democrats about the party’s secret talks to end the shutdown.

In more good news, they are way too arrogant to course correct and go back to pretending they are not corrupt assholes.
My takeaway from the elections yesterday is that it’s one thing to be unpopular and have a large portion of the media apparatus desperate to pretend that’s not the case but it’s another thing to be unpopular and have that be an undeniable fact
