Did some more implementation on Bleed for Me, but the dumb chapter transitions are proving very annoying! Can't get them to show properly, and most of the advice I'm seeing isn't really getting me anywhere. I might try going through and messing with bitrate stuff on the exported webm, but aaaagh!

i met up with some old friends tonight.
first time i've talked to them in years at this point, it was bound to be awkward. they knew i transitioned, but when they saw me they basically treated me like a freak. when they asked what i do and i replied that im a writer, they spent a good while

stop trying to cram everything into 12 episode seasons/series. bring back longer episode counts (24+)
not everything has to be one or the other; we should have a healthy mix of both long and short form series. let stories be whatever length is best to be most effective

Dubbing is an accessibility issue as much as a labor one. Voice actors are underpaid and overworked, and treating a dub as inherently lesser is wack. People who can only engage with anime via dubbing deserve well performed and written dubs, and "bad" dubs is often due to bad management. Pay actors!
