In-laws are NOTORIOUSLY hard to get interested in new media (seriously, they just watch reruns of M*A*S*H, Blue Bloods and various NCISs over and OVER.) But last night I thought of introducing them to Reacher and they happily watched three episodes in a row! TRIUMPH!

Ha I'd forgotten that all happened at one meal
Once I fried chicken instead of cooking turkey and mixed the wet & dry dredges together. I remade them, dredged the chicken, and cooked it, starting a small grease fire. We put the fire out, finished cooking, and ate. Only then did we discover my son had made pumpkin pies with salt instead of sugar.

Yesterday several of us helped an older gentleman who brought in a list of books on his laptop. We all looked at his search bar, noticed "grok," sighed internally, checked actual catalog to correct various levels of fuckery & lies, & gently chatted with him about Not Doing That Again. Hope it took.
