This is a cool idea and despite my near-certainty that I'll eventually miss a day and feel bad, I'm going to give it a shot.

Get to know my game taste in 365 games!

For 2025, I'm going to post every day about a game that has been meaningful to me. Might not be the "best" games, or even my "favorites," but they're all ones that have stuck with me in one way or another, in rough ascending order of impact.

The R-slur has become so fashionable for hateful chuds to vice-signal at each other it takes someone like this standing up and saying, hey, there’s a reason we all started considering that word rude and mean, and it’s because it hurts real people and their loved ones

Muppet Christmas Carol is my favorite adaptation but I have to admit Mickey’s Christmas Carol is bonkers-efficient storytelling. Hits all the notes with incredible potency for the shorter length. “The richest man in the cemetery” is an all-timer for getting the whole point across in six words.

No one shld lose sight of the fact that the Guard was only in DC as part of an extended political messaging stunt. The shooter is guilty for the attacks/carnage. Donald Trump is responsible for them. This is the collateral damage of Trump abusing his powers as President.

I know we’re focusing on him calling the reporter stupid (and for good reason) but also this doesn’t even make internal sense? There was “no vetting” but also he went nuts after the vetting? Which means vetting wouldn’t have caught it anyway?
Q: Officials say the suspect in the DC shooting was vetted & it came up clean

TRUMP: He went cuckoo. He went nuts. There was no vetting

Q: Actually, your DOJ IG says there was thorough vetting of Afghans. So why blame Biden?

TRUMP: You're just asking questions because you're a stupid person

I know I made a joke about defrosting a turkey wrong but I actually was defrosting it correctly, in the fridge, and it's still somehow a frozen solid block of ice four days later. So.

Zootopia 2 is getting good reviews and I’m sure I’ll see it with the kiddos but it’s very funny that the pitch is “zootopia again but this time they’re racist to lizards”

Whether this was random street crime or targeted political violence, I think it was bad for the president to unnecessarily put the National Guard in harm’s way like this. They simply don’t need to be there.

Aside from the high seas murder spree, an order to court martial a sitting senator for 100% legal political speech, and to do so under blatant unlawful command influence, would probably be the clearest case yet of an order so manifestly unlawful there is a duty for anybody in uniform to refuse it.

I can’t go so far as to say “apple pie is bad” but it’s unusually easy to make a bad apple pie. Too many people make it with huge chunks of apple instead of little bits so you try to take a forkful and the whole thing collapses. Not a mistake that’s even possible for a berry or filling based pie.
Apple pie is bad. This is not really debatable. So is key lime pie, while we’re on the topic. Pecan pie is the 🐐 tho.

One thing Rogue One did really well, which Andor expanded on, is establish that the destruction of the Death Star was built on the collective work and sacrifice of tons of regular people before Luke ever had a chance to nail a one in a million shot with space magic
