I'M ON THAT FAMILY FALL FUN SHIT

ON THAT WHOLESOME HALLOWEEN ACTIVITY EVERY WEEKEND SHIT
#19. DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS is the perfect Lee-Dracula sequel, save for the lack of Cushing. But the film's look, fun script, creepy castle scenes, wonderful cast, and gruesome resurrection scene sets it apart. Fangtastic

Confined to the house on a gorgeous fall day? Sounds like a good reason to start scanning the covers of old horror paperbacks

31 Days of Horror: The Blind Dead series (1971-76). A weekend marathon today featuring Amando de Ossorio’s quartet of walking/riding/sailing corpse templars.
I respect the hell out of them for doing this
A free book. Because we were moved to make it. A confederacy of weirdos. An homage to Ligotti. An encrimsoning.
COVER REVEAL AND RELEASE

WE WILL SPEAK AGAIN OF THE RED TOWER is a tribute anthology of stories inspired by Thomas Ligotti’s “The Red Tower” and it’s out NOW: dl.bookfunnel.com/zum1k2dg9b
Hadn't thought of that but you're dead on.
Just finished the first BLACK COMPANY novel by Glen Cook last night and as your lawyer I recommend that you read it immediately if you like dirtbag sword & sorcery
I want to opt out! I want to opt out of all of it!! I've been reading books and watching DVDs and playing Diablo 2 in offline mode and going on walks and it's enough!! What are they doing to us! What have they done to us?!

Sorry about the print error! DM me your address or order number and I'll get you a fresh copy.
A good one is when they watch something you can't see descend a staircase or move through a room, their head moving along with it, until they lose it in a mad bark and come scrambling back to you.
#18. HORROR OF DRACULA set me on the path of Hammer. I rewatch it often, always enchanted by its color, performances, and neo-Gothic tone.
A simple water/vinegar solution works wonders when scraping goblin guts off of stained glass, fyi
(Goblins and familiars are permitted knowledge of a handful of runes to prevent accidental explosions in the laboratory)
#17: ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN is pretty much my ideal classic monster mash up: great sets and lighting, lots of monster action, and a whip-crack comedic script. A surprise cameo by Vincent Price seals the deal. Delightful

I got around to reading THE SECRET GOATMAN SPOOKSHOW by @spookhouse.bsky.social this weekend and enjoyed it tremendously! Great fun if (like me) you're into Blair Witchy found footage-type horrors. Imaginative, visceral, playful, and spooky.
Thank you! It's out of print currently but I hope to correct that this year. Glad you could get a copy.

Warms my cold undead heart to be a part of someone's Halloween tradition. Stay tuned for the next Special.
