every year I take multiple weeks-long breaks from writing and I would generally recommend this to anyone who wants to see dramatic gains in their craftsmanship, ability, and motivation and also does not want to burn themselves out in less than spectacular fashion

Watching BATMAN (1989) and hooting and hollering whenever I see a painting as city or a miniature as skyscraper. Making Joker the main character was such a smart move. Jack Palance! Billy Dee Williams! This whole thing is a treat

MARROW for BLOOD is so good man. Gratuitous explosions, creative use of vanilla assets, mind bending level architecture, engaging encounter design. Doesn't confuse overwhelming expert level challenge with good design, unlike some of the new DOOM episodes.

If you come to my D&D table with anything more than this I am going to politely tell you once it's not that kind of game and then proceed to shovel skeletons and traps at your PC until either they break or the dungeon does
It's so funny how I think I'll need so much complicated backstory for characters, and then I read the bios for Golden axe

I watched History of the Occult tonight without really knowing anything about it going in and thought it was great. Actually quite scary and well done. It’s a little funny watching a movie really succeed at what Late Night With the Devil was trying to do.
