Might be the only game where I finish the normal run and immediately start playing the hard mode

I believe that's Carmilla's castle at the end. Versailles is just really loooong and not particularly fun to play through

There's so much I love about DS3 that is the best of FROM distilled into concentrated form (several of the first zones) and so much that I loathe (HP sponge enemies and bosses, tedious challenge as doctrine). What I didn't like got carried forward as foundational design principle in ER. Ah well
