My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

Yesterday I went to urgent care because my primary care can’t see me and was told they couldn’t treat me because they needed to refer me to another provider who’s booked until Jan. but can’t even take the appointment because my insurance has to review the urgent referral.
This bullshit is making everything worse and the only thing I’m sure of is that I will continue to spend five figures a year to access four figures of care just in case I need seven figures of care.
