An obscure piece of #Splatterhouse artwork most likely featured on a Japanese magazine, just in time for Halloween season. Removed a small element from the top left side, taking few liberties, applying the usual upscale/clan/retouch process. No clue on the artist.

This monster strangely resembles the Tyrant from the Resident Evil series.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet (and is isn't even mentioned on Dark Horse's page for it), but the upcoming Gunsmith Cats Omnibus Book Three reportedly includes the original Riding Bean manga by Sonoda that ran in the short-lived Comic Noizy magazine.

That Night’s Wife (with live piano accompaniment!) is Ozu trying on hardboiled crime, but it’s still Ozu, so it’s a family drama. Quiet looks of desperation and longing, but with guns and grime.
Also I can swear I’ve seen this still traced by Maruo or someone.

It's Rumiko Takahashi's birthday! One of the first things from her I ever read was the Ranma story where Ranma pretends to be Ryoga's (non-existent) long lost sister to interrupt his date. You definitely didn't see stories like this in Heroes Reborn.

I first saw "Plan 9" at my first comics convention in the early 80s. I had never heard of it, and wandered into a movie room with a friend to find someplace to sit down for a few minutes.

That was... an experience. Pretty sure I just sat there staring with my mouth open till the credits.
