Bugger ~ it’s so frustrating & scary bc you just don’t know when you’ll ever feel better again. Plus Drs are still learning about it too. My nephew has it too xx
Every day it’s something else (literally copying the US) too 🤦🏽‍♀️

Can highly recommend a b12 shot for long covid - I had it a couple of years back & my pharmacist & GP said studies showed it can help some people & after my first one I noticed a massive change esp. brain fog & exhaustion 🤞🏽

Sunrise, Wednesday, 29 October from Makorori Beach, Aotearoa / New Zealand.

Ata mārie / Good Morning ☀️
My best friend is about to do a 4th round of chemo because of the waitlists/no beds for stem cell transplants in Auckland ~ normally she should have only needed 2 rounds & max is 4, so fk knows what happens if she has to wait after this 4th time - her Drs are so frustrated too doing this

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.
They are also not taxing your family home (first home) if I was privileged to own 25 homes like some current MPs do….they only get 28% taxed on any profit….they won’t go broke of this

The richest man on earth owns X.

The second richest man on earth is about to acquire TikTok and his family could soon own both Paramount and Warner Bros.

The third richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The fourth richest man owns The Washington Post.

See the problem here?

Nelson Hospital's generator failed this week for an hour. Simeon Brown labelled it "unacceptable".

This is the same Simeon who instructed authorities to do "absolute minimum" in works - even though he knows risks incl. equipment failure #nzpol
Health authorities recommend doing 'absolute minimum' to fix Auckland City Hospital
Documents show the decision could lead to critical assets failing, resulting in patient harm.

You know, there’s this pervasive view that people don’t care about climate change / are bored of it / find it overwhelming but I wrote this story this week and social media went crazy over it. People care!!!! They really care are they need a way to channel it www.rnz.co.nz/news/nationa...
New Zealand guts climate policy it bragged about on the world stage

"It doesn't feel like they are made with love, it feels like they are made with hate," says one high school student about the government's revamped school lunches scheme, run by the School Lunch Collective. #nzpol
School lunch scheme 'far from fixed' after eight months
After eight months of the new meals, some schools say meals have shrunk, waste has skyrocketed and a lack of nutrition is taking a toll on learning.

“The strikers I've spoken to are striking because they are being put into situations that are against their moral code. Unsafe situations from classrooms to emergency departments. They're understaffed and under-resourced, which means they cannot do what they chose their professions to do.”
“Why should those in caring professions be the only ones to shoulder this burden? How can we help? What can we do?

That's why I'm asking you to show up in any way you can - whether it's attending an event tomorrow, posting on social media accounts (#Oct23Strike), or writing to your MP…” #nzpol

Why won’t Speaker Johnson swear in Rep. Adelita Grijalva? Because she is the last signature needed to force a vote on releasing the full Epstein files.
