Don't ever forget, when the NYPD had their tantrum and essentially went on strike crime dropped. It wasn't just that arrests/citations fell, reports of crime from citizens fell.

the actual story here, which the media never talks about, is that police in this country have become a discrete right-wing political operation. the story isn't about cops leaving (they're lying about that), it's about the police trying to exert influence over elections.

Time spent agonizing over word choice is time not spent creating. Write your caption in 30 seconds, post it, then go make something new. Your followers care more about seeing your work than reading perfect prose.

That project that "failed"? Someone out there needed exactly that thing and found it meaningful, even if the numbers don't show it. Impact isn't always measurable in downloads or engagement. Sometimes it's just one person saying "this helped."

Stop calling them "failed projects." Call them "skill building exercises" or "market research" or "creative experiments." Language matters. How you frame your setbacks determines whether they break you down or build you up.
