After doing character creation, yeah Daggerheart has something going for it. I'm still iffy on the resolution mechanic, but this is solid.

Having done both Gen Con and PAX Unplugged, I can inarguably say that PAX is the better con. However, Philly is about 3X more expensive city for ride share and nightlife. Indianapolis smells like sewage, but Philly has its own faults.

PAX was such a huge perspective changer for me. I’ve been feeling a big “chapter” change in my life recently, and that whole trip was like the major page turn. The coolest info I found out this weekend at PAX is just how thriving OSR stuff is on TikTok, and how receptive TikTok audiences and creators are to OSR games. Never would have thought

This is the reason I created Vagabond's Fighter the way I did. People are expecting something cake to apply the palette they want to. The people asking for complex maneuvers and all that are the minority, so a specialized class design is needed for them, not your vanilla fight man.

People are asking about how the "Martial/Caster Divide" in Vagabond. During playtest, Treantmonk actually said we had the inverse problem where Martials were straight up better than Casters. We tuned things more since then, but I still think the strongest class is a Martialist (the Alchemist).

There comes a point where telling a customer to "go fuck themselves" is 1000% the best business practice. Not saying you do this to every customer, but good god some people are incapable of satisfaction and our culture isn't helping them become less insufferable assholes.
