Over 40% of corn grown in Indiana is used to make ethanol that cars burn. One acre of corn yields about 16,500 vehicle-miles per year of ethanol, which sounds high until you realize that one acre of solar yields about 2,700,000 vehicle-miles per year: 16,000% more driving for a given plot of land.

My fav part is watching people trying to jam a 3 cu.ft. bag into a 2 cu.ft. overhead bin then being very surprised that
a. all of it didn't fit
b. the overhead bin now won't close
Usually they then attempt to defy the laws of physics while verbally abusing their spouse.

I never said junk food causes autism, I said it's got more to do with American health issues than Tylenol.
Lung cancer predates cigarettes but that doesn't mean cigarettes don't exacerbate lung cancer 🤷🏼

America consumes more highly processed foods than any other nation which seems like a more likely cause of health issues than the occasional Tylenol.
