See what I'm talking about. Stop doing interviews. Make the white folks do it.
My local TV NEWS @news12.bsky.social NEWS 12 BK interviewed people about no snap benefits in nov of the 6 people they showed interviewed 5 were black, only 1 was white.

The young men in my focus group had lost money on Republican-controlled meme coins, Republican-owned sports gambling platforms, and Republican-backed meme stocks. None were interested in voting for Democrats, stating that the party didn't have their best interests at heart.

Our NELA adu is available in November. I love this space. It’s relaxing and private. Close to bars and restaurants but also somehow feels secluded. Fruit trees. Partially furnished. Searching for a good human because life is too short.

Don’t shoot unarmed black people.

Feels like that should be the first rule of being a cop.
BREAKING: A Department of Homeland Security officer shot at an unarmed black man during a traffic stop in DC, and the DC police officer said he was told by superiors not to mention the shooting in his incident report. 1/ www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...
Lawyers allege cover-up after fed shoots at man during D.C. traffic stop
Neither D.C. police nor the Department of Homeland Security have explained why the Homeland Security agent fired his weapon.

Apparently some folks are playing real dumb about skull symbols so let’s play a little game I like to call “Nazi skull or not a Nazi skull”

First up, the Jolly Roger. This is a pirate skull, not a Nazi skull. It means you might get robbed, but prolly not genocided.

With me so far? 1/x
We could so use some Ghost Rider

The majority of food stamp recipients are white. Conservatives want you to believe that it's predominantly minority groups who receive government assistance to keep the white supremacy machine alive.

If the worst demons had just beaten us that’d be one thing but brought down by silly bullshit like wannabe yippe’s cosplaying 1968 or journos pouting about having to ask Georgians and Arizonans about politics instead of just Iowans and Ohioans… that’s just… I don’t know terminally galling maybe

Did not imagine I would have to go on a block and mute spree as a result of posting about...

...feeding struggling families and volunteering at a feed bank.

We live in Hell and are surrounded by its worst demons.

If you have more time than money and still want to help, please consider volunteering at your local food bank. They are going to be overrun in the coming weeks and will be desperate for extra hands. You have no idea how much good you can put back into the world with just a few hours of your time.
Adding one little thing. We need a class action lawsuit against House Speaker Mike Johnson. We are being deprived of our constitutionally guaranteed rights to representation with the House being kept out of session to guarantee a unitary executive president.
Earn your money, but keep it in your pocket for people who align with you. The people we have to hurt are the ones at the top and the diversification of businesses makes it harder. But not buying their shit is easy. Just a thought.
No Black Friday anything. No big store shopping. Keep it simple and small. Shop locally. Keep those folks afloat. Small vendors, small business, local farmers markets. They're wearing MAGA gear? Don't buy from them.
The big holiday shopping we usually do? Not just toys, but meals from major stores? Cut that back. If anything, donate to community meal charities. Or buy at a local farmer's market in solidarity. Find a food co-op.
Social media boycotts. Reductions, whatever you want to do, but cut down not just being on it but sharing on it. Especially attacking conservatives. It just makes you feel better, doesn't really do anything.
Our biggest problems are techbros using the Nazification of the US to reshape society to their desires. Ergo, tech use must be a target.
Second biggest problem is people need money to survive. They gotta work. But this has to be long term sustainable.
I've done some thought on a general strike that's broad enough for all states but still has the chance to be painful to our enemies. This is what I've come up with and I'd love to see suggestions on other methodologies. I used 2 primary considerations. Flexibility & intensity.

Canada is working to finalise a new Canada-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement — a partnership that would create huge opportunities for workers and businesses on both sides of the Pacific.

An underrated storyline in 9 days: Youngkin has made it so people lose their voting rights for life for any felony at present. A Dem proposal that’s started advancing to restore voting rights hinges on Dems keeping the state House
Virginia Senator Scott Surovell says it’s offensive that his state makes people “get on their hands and knees and beg the governor” for their voting rights. He's championed automatic rights restoration for people released from prison.
Virginia Democrats Advance a Measure to End Lifetime Voting Ban. Now It Gets Complicated.
The measure’s fate likely hinges on this fall’s legislative races: Lawmakers will need to pass it again next year. In the meantime, Glenn Youngkin’s harsh restrictions remain in place.
