I sorta think the fact that they pivoted from NFTs to AI without even pausing is part of why more people aren’t buying “AI is the future.”

I wanted to say some stuff, though if i said what i really wanted to say i'd probably get in trouble. There is legitimatly no excuse for requiring more than two interviews even if you are interviewing someone for a management position. It wastes the time of people that dont have it.
not the main point but it should be illegal to interview someone more than 3 times for the same position
3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment.
2 weeks later they rescinded the offer due to “headcount issues”.

A better arguement then I could ever give. Folks justify saying SNAP recipients shouldn’t buy junk food, then ban them from buying anything you can just eat without spending a half hour standing over a store. Time and electricity are commodities too, ones poor people have less of.
Most people don’t know that with SNAP you are banned from buying “foods that are hot at the point of sale”. So even if you have SNAP (which people don’t now) you can’t get cooked food. Which means you need to also actually have the resources to PREPARE a “healthy” meal.
Thinking about the social stigma against eating fast food in a country where poor people are being starved by the govt, the cost of groceries and fresh vegetables are astronomical, and a cheeseburger at McDonald’s costs $3.50.
“Clean” and “healthy” eating rhetoric is racist, ableist, and classist.
