The pettiest hill I will die on: any knife that is used to cut bananas does NOT go in the dishwasher. It WILL NOT get clean. And then I have to wash it by hand, instead of the person that used it. 🔪🍌🚫!!!

"Adult stealing baseball from child at major league game" seems to be the best metaphor for the state of the USA.
Yes, there's a whole stadium of people that didn't steal that home run/fly ball/whatever from the kid, but one did, and got away with it. That's normalized now.

My dream last night was that we were at a buffet. My son was looking at a fish, but he wasn't sure about having it. So my wife took it and ate it. But it was a 20lb whole live fish, and she swallowed it whole. Then followed it up with another large quadruped of a similar size, also swallowed whole.
