Day 3 of learning Unity. Found a tutorial that didn't really explain how to make things from scratch so decided to remake it using my some art from Smol Survivors. Still have to wrap my head around how the engine handles things but getting better every day! #gamedev #pixelart #unityengine

I really wish the dialogue could be properly skipped cause I feel like this game would be my obsession if I could just jump into building. Love it but man starting a new game is a drag

How early do you start letting people play your game during development?
From experience, it's mostly because they want to emulate realistic lighting, which means they make emulated materials to interact with said lighting. Wish they wouldn't stick to such thought processes cause yeah it's looking so washed out.
Funnily enough, I also used this for mushrooms in my game. Made a function to grab the total amount of sprites so it's really flexible. I love Godot's animation tools.
