A quick intro to Slumberland: we're a tiny indie record label that started in 1989 in MD/DC and has resided in Oakland, CA since 1992. We've mostly focused on indiepop but SLR has also released power-pop, punk, shoegaze, post-punk, etc. Stubbornly uncool.

Singer, songwriter Rachel was guitarist and singer in 70/80’s band Dolly Mixture who were signed to Paul Wellers' ‘Respond’ label and championed by The Undertones & John Peel. She has released 2 solo albums as Rachel Love, ‘Picture in Mind’ in 2021 and ‘Lyra’ in 2024. She now plays live gigs with her son’s band Telecom and her new band ‘Railcard’ with Ian Button and Peter Momtchiloff
